Other State Provisions & Exemptions
- Wyoming allows for GVWs up to 117,000 lbs on specific routes and certain sections of the Interstate System.
- Tridem axle weight limit is 42,000 lbs.
- Weight should not exceed 750 lbs per inch width of tire on the wheel of a steering axle or 600 lbs per inch width of tire on other axle types.
- Vehicles with idle reduction technology are permitted axle, vehicle, or bridge formula weights of up to 400 lbs. over the limit.
