Other State Provisions & Exemptions

Georgia allows for a 1,000-lb tolerance on axle weight limits.
Tridem axles can carry 61,020 lbs on non-Interstate highways.
Vehicles with idle reduction technology can have axle, vehicle, or bridge formula weights of up to 400 lbs over the limit.
