- Oklahoma allows a 5% GVW tolerance for vehicles hauling oilfield equipment on non-Interstate highways.
- Double combinations with trailers that are over 29 ft in length can only travel on the Interstate System and certain segments of the Oklahoma highway system.
- Vehicles with idle reduction technology are permitted axle, vehicle, or bridge formula weights of up to 400 lbs over the limit.
