FR8Star recently aided a buyer in lining up transport for a 32-ton (29-metric-ton) 2004 Komatsu wheel loader from Dighton, Massachusetts, to Houston, Texas. The 15,563-hour Komatsu had just sold for $44,800 on a live auction simulcast by Equipmentfacts. It was a fleet-maintained unit with a four-speed transmission, heat and air conditioning, full glass, and work lights.

The seller said the loader’s plated bucket had a “good” cutting edge and that the 20.5R25 tires were also good all around. The buyer used FR8Star to find and book the best hauler for the 1,843-mile (2,966-kilometer) journey, which was easy with a clickable link right on the Komatsu’s Equipmentfacts listing.
